Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I went home this last weekend for an early Thanksgiving weekend with my parents. We laughed, we cooked, we ate out, we drank a lot of (really) good wine and we had an amazing time catching up. I couldn’t believe it had been SIX months since I had spent a long weekend at home – time flies.
For part of our Thanksgiving meal, I had asked my mom if we could incorporate two new recipes to the obvious staple items that we normally have; Squash with Dates and Thyme and then a Chai Spiced Pear Pie. Next time, I would love to add cranberries to the pie to give it a little more of a sour zing. Both were a hit and I plan on incorporating both into my fall recipe go-tos!
Someone asked me the other day what my “ideal” Thanksgiving menu would be so I thought it would be fun to list it below with links for examples! Here is also one of my favorite Wine Guides for Thanksgiving to help you select the perfect wine pairings!
